While there are as many different flash lights on the market as there are uses for those devices, very few if any can match the versatility of the Packlight. The reason this flashlight is different from your typical LED based light is not because it has 45 LEDs, or the fact that it is only 1cm thick. It's not even because it has built-in Neodymium magnets that allow it to stick to metal surfaces. No, while all these features are very good, the real secret to what makes the Packlight so interesting is the fact that it can do all that and is bendable!
Yes the Packlight is not only ultra bright (thanks to its 45 LEDs) and ultra thin and portable (it only weighs 200 grams), it is also moldable. Need a light for you backpack, or hat? Bend the Packlight in to shape; heck it not only has three lighting modes (dim, high and blink) but the darn thing is made out of neoprene and is water proof. The possibilities for this light really are endless and is only limited by your imagination. Even better is the fact that it recharges via a USB port. There is even a solar power charger available for $20 as an accessory for the Packlight! If all this is not enough to convince you of the merits of the Packlight, the fact that you can get one for as little as a $1 pledge should make you sit up and take notice! Just be warned, once they reach their $7000 goal don't expect to be able to get it for this price (as the MSRP will be $60). Get it while its H-O-T!
